LEARN HOW TO MEDITATE

 

We all hear about it, but doing it - a whole other story.

​

Meditation is the bridge between the universe inside you and the one outside, known as our world. The breath is the messenger between body and mind. If you want to meditate, you need to be able to control and master your breathing. Your breath is a manifestation of the first and most meaningful connection - your life. So we can say breath is life.  And we know that the breath is the smallest form of energy. Therefore, proper breathing is the gateway to Meditation. 

​

The movements of your mind are a form of energy that manifests in thoughts, emotions, and much more. So if you want to still your mind (Meditate), you learn how to control your breath, because that enables you to control the flow and use of your energy. 

Regular practice of meditation and thereby regulating your breathing (so-called Pranayama techniques) changes the state of your mind while you are practicing. You can feel your progress by increased mental stability, as well as through reduced reactivity to the various irritations that everyday life brings with it. It leaves benevolent footprints in your mind and soul, which gradually positively change your life. Most of all, it fosters the invaluable connection between your heart and your higher consciousness - essential for contented living these days.
